MY DATA JOURNEY
About Me
My journey in analytics started in education, where, as a Math and Science teacher I learned to leverage assessment data to create individualized learning plans and data-rich science labs.
I went on to direct a K-8 STEM program, where I developed an integrated STEM curriculum which blending math and science practices with technology and data literacy skills. I project-managed a one-to-one device program, continuously improved STEM programming, administrated Google and Microsoft systems, and coordinated assessment analysis for Measures of Academic Progress.
During the pandemic I enrolled in the University of Texas' Post-Graduate Program in Data Science & Business Analytics. Partway through the program, I became a Data Fellow.
Now, I wrangle academic data and design dashboards for a range of stakeholders that address learning loss in order to accelerate academic growth for students affected by the pandemic.
